You see, we interviewed a few agents before deciding how to market this house. With the current market situation and a house that needed significant sprucing up, we were concerned that we get the right agent and develop a marketing plan that would generate a quick sale.

"My wife and I sold our house in Reston in Feb 06 (a flattening market) , and bought a house in Herndon in March 06. We used Carol Ellickson from Weichert Realtors as our agent for both transactions. Results speak for themselves:

· For our sale, we received 2 full price contracts after just 4 days on the market. This compares with a house (just as nice as ours) one block over from us that was just $20K higher that took >5 months to sell.

· After taking the time to understand our desires, Carol found a house for us that my wife and I fell in love with. It had been on the market for just 10 days when Carol presented our offer.
